Busy is exhausting
According to organisational psychologists, Australians are busier than ever - with 3 billion hours of unpaid overtime annually and 134 million days of accrued annual leave. Most don’t take a lunch break and 1/4 aren’t getting enough sleep.

Lack of connection
1/4 Australians report experiencing social isolation and loneliness, often leading to other mental and physical challenges. Finding and connecting with spiritually like-minded peers can be difficult and hinder the growth of personal faith and commitment to make a difference.

Getting left behind
Given the circumstances, traditional church models are facing new challenges. How to connect with people who have very little time or energy? A resulting disconnect occurs between individual aspirations for spiritual growth and social impact. Unfortunately, these are often the people with unique skills and resources to be able to make a difference in the world!
